RNA - Addressing the first world conference of Resistance Movement Scholars in Beirut, Lebanon’s capital, Sheikh Maher Hammoud added that spreading religious and sectarian discord is a weapon used by enemies against Muslims.

 

Elsewhere in his remarks, the senior cleric referred to the recent Zionist attacks against Al-Aqsa Mosque and praised the Palestinian people and scholars for their resistance against the Zionists’ savagery.

 

He also lauded Iran and Hezbollah for their supports for the resistance in Palestine and Lebanon.

 

Sheikh Hammoud further referred to the Beirut conference as an effort in support of the Palestinian cause.

 

Titled “Unity for Palestine”, the first world conference of Resistance Movement Scholars kicked off in the Lebanese capital of Beirut on Tuesday.

 

Hezbollah chief Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah and Secretary General of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought Ayatollah Mohsen Araki also addressed the conference.

 

It will conclude on Wednesday night, July 29, after releasing a statement, IQNA reported.
