Rasa - Following his days-long visit to Iraq, Iranian foreign minister also met with the sources of emulation based in Najaf.
RNA - After a meeting with Iraqi top cleric Ayatollah Sayyid Ali al-Sistani, Iranian foreign minister Mohammad Javad Zarif also met with other sources of emulation based in Najaf.
The scholars include Ayatollah Muhammad Saeed Hakim, Sheikh Ishaq Fayyadh and Sheikh Bashir al-Najafi.
According to Rasa News correspondent, the foreign minister discussed the recent political and security developments of Iraq with the sources of emulation.
Zarif also presented a report on Iran’s nuclear agreement with the P5+1 group of countries.
The nuclear agreement struck between Iran and the six world powers in Vienna on July 14 is likely to be high on the agenda of Zarif's discussions with the regional officials.
