Rasa News Agency Reports – In a message issued by the secretary of the Guardian Council, Ayatollah Jannati congratulated Dr. Hassan Rowhani for being elected as the president of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

In the name of God, the most compassionate, the most merciful
I would like to congratulate the participation of the majority of the people in [Iran’s] presidential election in respond to the call of the supreme leader and congratulating the elected president Hojatolislam Rowhani, I with the utmost respect demand him to remain loyal to Imam [Khomeini’s] guidelines and the leadership of the supreme leader and the constitution [of the Islamic Republic] in serving the people.
