RNA - "The statements by Ayatollah Khamenei addressing worshippers in the Eid al-Fitr (marking the end of the holy month of Ramadan) prayers in Tehran work as a compass for the oppressed people, not only in Bahrain but in all Muslims countries," part of Al-Wafa'a's statement read.
It said that the Iranian Supreme Leader's remarks and stances provided a guideline for the Bahraini people in their revolution against the Al-Khalifa regime and its mercenaries.
"We announce our full support for Ayatollah Khamenei's stances on Bahrain and we welcome any stance and support that is in line with the Bahraini nation's demand for freedom from the Al Khalifa regime," the statement added.
On July 18, Ayatollah Khamenei reiterated that whether the text of the nuclear agreement between Tehran and the world powers is ratified by the Iranian parliament or not, Iran will continue supporting the oppressed Palestinian nation, Yemen, Bahrain as well as the nations and governments of Syria and Iraq and the honest warriors of Lebanon and Palestine.
He said that Islamic Iran will never yield to excessive demands of the enemies while safeguarding its defensive and security capabilities.
Anti-government protesters have been holding peaceful demonstrations across Bahrain since mid-February 2011, calling for an end to the al-Khalifa dynasty.
Violence against the defenseless people escalated after a Saudi-led conglomerate of police, security and military forces from the Persian Gulf Cooperation Council (PGCC) member states - Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, Oman and Qatar - were dispatched to the tiny Persian Gulf kingdom on March 2011, to help Manama crack down on peaceful protestors.
So far, tens of protesters have been killed, hundreds have gone missing and thousands of others have been injured.
