RNA - The representative of Ayatollah Sistani, Hojatolislam Sayyid Ahmad Safi met with the Iraqi Interior Minister Mohammed Al-Ghabban.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed Iraq’s latest political and security developments.
Hojatolislam Safi hailed the efforts made by the Iraqi security forces to tackle ISIS Takfiri extremists in the country.
Iraq’s Interior Minister stressed upon the importance of bilateral religious talks and demanded the Iraqi nation to “stay united against terrorism to bring back security and stability in the country.”
