RNA – During his Friday prayer sermon delivered to a large and fervent crowd of believers in the Iraqi city of Najaf’s Fatimah al-Kubra Husayniyah, Hujjat al-Islam Sayyid Sadruddin al-Qubanchi hailed the recent victories of Iraq’s Popular Mobilization Forces in the fight against ISIL terrorists, saying that they have been successful in the past few days in liberating number of villages and areas near Ramadi.
His Eminence said that last weeks’ bombing of al-Ramadi Olympic Stadium by ISIL Takfiri terrorists shows their true intentions and lack of reason, saying: “ISIL’s destruction of the al-Ramadi Stadium proves that no place is safe from their criminal acts and shows that they only seek destruction.”
Hujjat al-Islam al-Qubanchi offered his congratulations to the families of the martyrs, who died giving their lives in defence of their nation, and stressed that Ramadi would soon be liberated and added many ISIL terrorists will be killed in the process.
The renowned Iraqi scholar strongly condemned ISIL’s brutal attack on the market of the predominately Shi’a town of Khan Bani Sa’d in Diyala province of Iraq and added that this terrorist attack was an attempt at revenge for the recent successes of the Iraqi forces.
Iran's Nuclear deal victory for Iraq
In regard to Iran’s recent nuclear agreement with the P5+1 group of countries, he said it was a “victory” and said this agreement acknowledges Iran’s right to utilize peaceful nuclear technology. “This is not only an important achievement for Iran, but is also a victory for Iraq,” he said.
His Eminence also emphasized that the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) alarms Israel and its allies so much that they have asked Arab countries to review their relationship with Tehran and its allies.
Hujjat al-Islam al-Qubanchi expressed his gratitude to the Supreme Leader of Iran’s Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei, and to the Iranian people for their role in this obtaining this significant achievement and for their friendly stance in support of Syria and Iraq.
On the 89th anniversary of destruction of Madinah’s Jannat al-Baqi’ cemetery by Saudi forces, he said that the destruction of the of these holy tombs was aimed at creating internal divisions among the various Muslim schools of thought and to create sectarian wars among them.
His Eminence stressed that ISIL is an extension of the evil Wahhabi ideology, which is a project created by the United Kingdom and the other arrogant superpowers of the world to engage in criminal and terrorist acts against Muslims.
Hujjat al-Islam Qubanchi explained that Saudi Arabia aims to launch wars against the Shi’a throughout the world, and added: “God-willing, the House of Saud and the terrorism which they created in the region will soon be destroyed.”
