RNA – In an exclusive interview with Rasa News Agency, Hujjat al-Islam Mahdi Soleymani-Ardahali, a professor in the Islamic Seminary of Qom referred to Iran’s recently-signed Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) with the P5+1 group of countries, saying it was a “unique in the world.”
He added that such a confrontation and showdown between Iran and the superpowers of the world has never occurred. “During the negotiations, all the superpowers of the world stood against Iran, [but] with their courage, Iran’s nuclear negotiating team was able to obtain a great victory for the Iranian nation,” he said.
Hujjat al-Islam Soleymani said that due to the achievements achieved by Iran during the negotiations and their ability to push back the enemy, Iran’s allies have expressed their happiness and the leaders of some countries have expressed their congratulations to the Iranian government. “The defeat of the P5+1 and the United States against Iran’s logical arguments clearly brightened the eyes of Iran’s allies and spited its enemies,” he said.
The Friday prayer leaders of the village of Mashhad-e Ardahal explained that since the JCPOA was signed in Vienna on July 14th, Israel’s cries and screams have been heard. “A Western analyst says that the US’ retreat caused Iran to make excessive demands and said that stronger sanctions should be imposed on Iran to make them more desperate and powerless,” he said.
He said that this Western analyst stated that the reason that Iran reached a suitable agreement was due to the Iranian leadership.
Hujjat al-Islam Soleymani emphasized that Iran’s enemies have admitted that Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei, is an international strategist. He added that there are two opposing groups in the US – one which accepts the JCPOA and one which is opposed to it. This opposing groups stresses that “all options on the table,” but President Barack Obama said the sanctions have been shattered and we cannot continue them as they demonstrate the power of Iran.
According to him, the victory of Islamic Iran has angered Israel, who views the nuclear agreement with sorrow. They argue that Iran should be condemned for its nuclear activities and call for end of all Iran’s nuclear related activities, including the dismantlement of the Arak heavy water reactor and the Fordo Fuel Enrichment Plant. They also want Iran to stop its missile development, permit foreigners to inspect its military facilities, cut off aid to Hezbollah and stop its military domestic reinforcement and end its slogans of “Down with America” and “Death to Israel.”
Hujjat al-Islam Soleymani pointed out that the infanticidal Zionist regime has engaged in great crimes and supports terrorist groups and added that Israel has martyred several Iranian nuclear scientists and has interfered in numerous countries.
His Eminence said that “some of the porridge in the pot has been spilled” and there has been talk of reopening the America Embassy in Iran, and this is despite the fact that that the US has repeatedly attacked Iran with their arrogant behaviour.
The renowned scholar explained that that the targeting of Iranian aircraft and international sanctions are plots created by the US in order to pursue its imperialistic goals. “The Iranian people will continue to shout “Down with America,” he emphasized.
In conclusion, Hujjat al-Islam Soleymani expressed his appreciation for Iran’s negotiating team and the government of the Islamic Republic of Iran, saying said the relevant agencies must ensure the provisions of this agreement do not violate Iran’s red lines.
