RNA – During his Friday prayer sermon delivered to a large and fervent crowd of believers in Qom’s Holy Shrine of Lady Fatimah al-Ma’sumah (S), Hujjat al-Islam Sayyed Hashem Hoseyni-Bushehri praised the “epic” presence of the noble Iranian people in last Friday’s al-Quds Day rallies.
He pointed to the message that the massive presence of passionate people on al-Quds Day showed to the world. “The Iranian nation is against the arrogant powers and the actions of these arrogant powers and oppressors are not satisfactory. We must use every opportunity to raise our voices against them. Unfortunately, instead of fighting against Israel and the United States, Takfiri groups fight against Muslims instead,” he said.
Ayatollah Hoseyni-Bushehri explained that Takfiris have create conflicts between Muslims in an attempt to obscure the issue of Jerusalem, saying: “Through the al-Quds Day rallies, the noble Iranian nation and the free nations have proven that the issue of Jerusalem and Palestine is the foremost issue in the Islamic world.”
Iran negotiated from position of authority over superpowers
In regard to Iran’s recent agreement with the P5+1 group of countries over its nuclear program, His Eminence said since the beginning of the Islamic Revolution, Iran sought to acquire and use nuclear technology for peaceful purposes and since then, the sanctions and plots by the enemies began and a campaign of ‘Iranophobia’ was launched.
The member of the Society of Seminary Teachers of Qom stated that the Islamic Republic of Iran has always been a nation of negotiation and logic, but the enemies needed these negotiations with Iran more than Iran did. “The final days of the negotiations were very difficult but the Iranian negotiating team negotiated from a position of authority over the superpowers,” he said.
Ayatollah Hoseyni-Bushehri emphasized that enemies were unwilling to accept the nuclear rights of the Iranian people and said that all nuclear activities should be shut down. With the signing of the agreement, the superpowers surrendered to the iron will of the Iranian nation and accepted the Islamic Republic of Iran’s nuclear rights. “Iran accepted limits to its nuclear program, but enrichment has not been suspended,” he added.
Qom’s Friday prayers’ leader said the false face of Iran that West has propagated has been reputed, saying that countries which don’t have diplomatic relations with Iran, have issued messages of congratulations over the successful agreement with the P5+1, which prove the position of Islamic Republic of Iran in the world.
Ayatollah Hoseyni-Bushehri stated that the enemies know that increased sanctions on Iran will have no effect but they also realize that a war against Iran would be dangerous for them and their interests, and had no other way but to negotiate with Iran and accept its nuclear rights.
Regarding Eid al-Fitr, the Festival of the Breaking of the Fast, the revered source of emulation reminded the believers gathered that every day that a Muslim does not sin, is an festival for the Muslims. “Eid al-Fitr is a day when one will be awarded by God Almighty and one must one must sign a covenant with God that every day is a festival for him.”
