RNA – In an exclusive interview with Rasa News Agency, Ayatollah Abbas Ka’bi, the member of the Assembly of Experts, referred to the end of Iran’s nuclear negotiations with the P5+1 group of countries and said that it has been proven by the joint statement issued at the end of twelve years of complex and difficult negotiations that Iran has overcome the powerful accusations of the world powers.
His Eminence said that today is a starting point for further development with regional and international powers and the Islamic Republic of Iran. He stressed after twelve years of negotiations, there will be fundamental changes in the legal arena, international relations and diplomacy in the world.
Ayatollah Ka’bi said the Islamic system of Iran is based on the guidance and support of the Supreme Leader and upon an axis of dignity, wisdom and expediency and said that Iran sat at the negotiating table in order to achieve a just and fair settlement to the nuclear issue and the establishment of the rights of the Iranian people.
The member of the Society of Seminary Teachers of Qom said that the nuclear issue is a national issue and an international one. “Any type of dispute or disagreement with the agreement which is biased or partisan must be evaluated against the dignity and interests and the demands of the Supreme Leader and the Iranian nation,” he said.
He warned the agreement may be removed at any time and its terms may be modified and a final agreement depends on local and national approval in the countries involved and changes may occur in some cases.
Ayatollah Ka’bi said complete nuclear rights, respect for the red lines of the Iranian government and a ban on any inspections of military facilities and the maintenance of the honour and dignity of the Iranian nation and the complete elimination of all sanctions and these must be included in the final agreement.
The professor in the Islamic Seminary of Qom expressed caution over the agreement reached and emphasized that the agreement reached in Vienna is merely a statement summarizing the negotiations and we must wait for the UN Security Council resolutions to be Iran cancelled and the for the various countries involved to approve the new agreement and then for a final agreement to be announced.
His Eminence stressed the permanent anti-imperialist stance of the Iranian nation, saying: “We remain distrustful of the enemies of Islam and of Muslims and people of Iran, including the ‘Great Satan’ that is the United States and we do not have any good expectations for them. We are waiting until they take action to fulfill their obligations.”
He added that the Iranian nation calls for justice, peace and security, but stands firm against the greed and excesses of the enemies.
Ayatollah Ka’bi emphasized that the Islamic Republic of Iran’s anti-imperialist nature will continue, stressing that an agreement does not mean the end of Iran’s anti-imperialist stance and Iran will still consider the US as the ‘Great Satan.’
In conclusion, he said that American human rights are synonymous with murder, plunder and rape of nations’ rights, saying: “The slogans of ‘Down with America’ and ‘Death to Israel’ are based on revolutionary rationality. These slogans are never based on sentiments and emotion but rather, they are based on revolutionary logic and rationality.”
