RNA - Titled ‘Thank You Iran,’ the song has been written and performed in Gaza and appreciates Iran’s help on behalf of the people living in the besieged Palestinian coastal sliver, Fars news agency reported.
According to the International Union of Unified Ummah, the song thanks Iran for its moral and material support for the Palestinian people.
It also underscores the unity of the Muslim Ummah as the only way for the liberation of al-Quds.
Gaza has been under a crippling Israeli blockade since 2007. The devastating siege has led to a serious humanitarian crisis in the enclave, causing unprecedented levels of unemployment and unrelenting poverty.
Israel's continued siege has also delayed the reconstruction process in Gaza following Tel Aviv’s war on the Palestinian territory last summer.
The 50-day war killed over 2,500 people, including more than 500 children. Tens of thousands were also displaced in the wake of the conflict, with thousands of homes destroyed or severely damaged.
