RNA - Supreme Leader's Advisor Ayatollah Mohammad Taskhiri in a meeting with Emir of Kuwait conveyed the Iranian Leader, government, and nation's sympathy to him and the bereaved family members of the victims of a terrorist attack at Imam Sadeq Mosque, Iran's official news agency reported.

 

Ayatollah Taskhiri is currently on a visit to Kuwait at the top of a delegation.


In his meeting with Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Sabah, he sympathized with the Kuwaiti leader, government and nation, expressing hope that the Muslim nation will one day relying on their solidarity sever the hands of all their ill-wishers and enemies and restore peace and security in the Islamic world.


'Islam is the religion of love, brotherhood, and peace and is therefore in direct contrast against all types of aggression and extremism, which are incongruous with the divine Islamic teachings and only strengthen the enemies' front,' he said.


Ayatollah Taskhiri said that the Iranians are entirely mourning for their martyred fasting brethren at Imam Sadeq Mosque while praying in the holy month of Ramadan.


Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmad said that the Kuwaiti government condoles with their Iranian brethren on the sad disaster and appreciated Ayatollah Taskhiri and his accompanying delegation for their participation in the mourning rituals of those offspring of the Islamic Ummah.


At noon time on Friday, when the Muslims were performing they midday prayers in Kuwait City's Imam Sadeq Mosque a suicidal terrorist exploded himself martyring 27 worshippers, including three Iranians, and wounding more than 200 others.
