Rasa - President of the Islamic European Union of Shia Scholars and Theologians condemned the Friday suicide attack on a Shia mosque in Kuwait.
Islamic European Body slams Kuwait mosque attack

RNA - Releasing a statement, Ayatollah Reza Ramezani also called on the government of Kuwait to identify and bring to justice those behind the deadly bombing.

 

At least 27 people lost their lives in the bomb attack at Imam Sadiq (AS) Mosque in Kuwait City on Friday. 

 

The bomb blast also injured 200 other worshippers, including five Iranians.

 

The Takfiri ISIL terrorist group claimed responsibility for the attack.

 

Ayatollah Ramezani in his statement also called on international bodies to confront those who set the ground for such acts of terror through distorted understanding of religion and Takfir.

 

He further wished swift recovery for those injured in the attack and condoled with the families of the victims.
