President Rouhani in a message of condolences to Kuwait emir:
Rasa – Iranian President Hassan Rouhani has sent a message of condolences to the Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah in which he condemned Friday’s terrorist bombing of a mosque in the Kuwait City.
RNA – “The filthy and anti-Islamic aim of Takfiri groups behind this crime at the safe Divine house and in the holy month of Ramadan is to defame Islam and draw an unreal and violent image of Muslims and to sow division and provoke them to commit fratricide,” President Rouhani said in his message to the Kuwaiti emir.
Expressing condolences to the emir, government and people of Kuwait, Dr. Rouhani expressed hope in his message that through public participation and double efforts and increased cooperation “we would witness spread of security, peace and tranquility in the region under the teachings of beneficent Islam as well as eradication of terrorism and violence throughout the world.”
