Rasa - Deputy head of Hamas's political bureau Ismail Haneyya has said that the blood of the martyrs in the West Bank would never go in vain and their sacrifices would bear fruit.

RNA - Haniyah made his remarks during a telephone conversation on Thursday with the father of Izzuddin Bani Garra, who was shot dead by an Israeli soldier a few days ago during an arrest campaign in Jenin refugee camp.

"Your blood is our blood and your martyrs are our martyrs," he told Bani Garra.

The Hamas official also attended on the same day the funeral ceremony of ex-detainee Sami Younis, known as the dean of the Palestinian prisoners, in Gaza city

He hailed the traits and sacrifices of Younis, who had spent 28 years in Israeli jails before his release as part of the last swap deal in Gaza.

Haneyya pledged in brief remarks to uphold the path of the martyrs and continue their struggle for liberation from the occupation.
