Rasa – While the February 14th movement in Bahrain refuses to participate in peaceful demonstrations with other opposition groups for believing in military confrontation with the al-Khalifa regime, they are planning to participate in the Friday demonstration which will be held to protest the irreverence of the Bahraini Shia Leader.

Rasa News Agency Reports – While the Bahraini protesters are divided into two groups regarding the way of fighting the regime, all of them are planning to participate in a huge joint demonstration for the first time to protest the al-Khalifa security forces’ attack to the house of Sheikh Issa Qasim, the Shia leader of the country.

In an interview with Rasa News Agency, the representative of the Bahraini Shiite leader in Iran and the director of Qom’s Al-Athar specialized seminary, Sheikh Abdullah Al-Daqaq mentioned the story saying: “the February 14th movement believe in military confrontation with the Al-Khalifa regime but other protest groups are focusing of peaceful demonstrations.”

“The officials and the members of the February 14th movement believe that the al-Khalifa regime can only be overthrown only by military the method” he added “and that’s why they don’t participate in the wide-spread demonstrations of the Bahraini revolutionaries that are being hold especially on Friday.”

 “Al-Khalifa regime forces’ attack to the house of Sheikh Issa Qasim caused unity among the Bahraini protest groups so that the February 14th movement has announced for the first time that they will participate in the peaceful rallies of the up-coming Friday to protest the irreverence of Sheikh Issa Qasim” he declared.

According to the reports, the al-Khalifa regime forces raided the house of Ayatollah Sheikh Issa Qasim on Friday midnight and destroyed the house while the Shia leader was not at the house at the time of the attack.

The action faced wide-spread reactions from scholars, protest groups and the Bahraini nation and also other prominent Islamic jurists and scholars from around the Muslim world.
