Rasa - Tehran Municipality plans to launch 22 more Dar-ol-Quran (House of Quran) centers in the Iranian capital, an official said.

RNA -  Sheikh Meisam Amroudi, a deputy of Tehran’s Mayor, said they will be opened by the end of next Iranian calendar year (March 2017), Iran's Quran News Agency reported.

 

He further highlighted the municipality’s Quranic activities and said different Quranic courses have been held at Quran houses across the city.

 

Amroudi added that the municipality also plans to mount 30 Quran exhibitions in different parts of the city during the holy month of Ramadan, Fars news agency reported.

 

It also cooperates in organizing the Tehran International Holy Quran Exhibion, which will be hosted by the Sacred Defense Garden Museum during the holy month.

 

The Tehran International Holy Quran Exhibition is annually mounted by the ministry of culture and Islamic guidance.

 

This year’s expo, which will be its 23rd edition, will kick off on the first day of Ramadan (June 18).
