RNA – Addressing a huge crowd of Friday Prayers worshippers and the faithful in Tehran, Ayatollah Mohammad Emami-Kashani referred to the high status and importance of the Islamic system of government, and compared and contrasted it with other forms of government around the world.

Ayatollah Emami-Kashani said the lifestyle and practical example of Imam Khomeini (may his soul rest in peace), the late founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran, is very important and valuable, and all strata of society, particularly the younger generation should pay attention to Imam Khomeini’s lifestyle and legacy.

Tehran’s interim Friday prayers’ leader went on to refer to those who question the concept of the Guardianship of the Jurisprudent (Wilayat al-Faqih), saying these individuals are the enemies of the Islamic Republic.

Ayatollah Emami-Kashani went on to emphasize the central importance and pivotal role of the Guardianship of the Jurisprudent in the Islamic system of government.

Commenting further, he said after the passing away of the founder of the Islamic Republic, Imam Khomeini (may his soul rest in peace), the current Leader of the Islamic Republic is a huge blessing for the Islamic Republic and the Islamic ummah.

Ayatollah Emami-Kashani stressed that the rule of the Supreme Jurist, and the current guardianship of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution is very important for the Islamic community and for the Islamic Republic, since the current Leader is following exactly the same path as the late Imam Khomeini (may his soul rest in peace), the father of the Islamic Revolution.

In further remarks, Tehran’s interim Friday Prayers leader said he hoped that the nuclear issue would be sorted, and that the Iranian nations’ lawful nuclear rights would be safeguarded.

Ayatollah Emami-Kashani went on to advise Iran’s nuclear negotiating team to be extra vigilant, and to fully defend the lawful rights of the Iranian nation.
