Rasa - Friday prayer leader of Karbala described ISIL terrorist group as a “tool for some to achieve their wicked goals” and demanded the Iraqi groups and individuals to “do something besides condemning.”

RNA - Sheikh Abdul Mahdi Karbalaee, Friday Prayer leader of the Iraqi city of Karbala described the current regional situation as quite dangerous and said: “ISIL advances in some parts of Iraq and neighboring countries as well as financial and logistic support of the regional countries carry threatening signs for Iraq and other countries in the region.

 

He warned that continuation of the current situation will lead to bloody sectarian battles, murders and long lasting devastations and it will end up with the regional countries being disintegrated into small states.
 
Sheikh Karbalaee urged Iraqi people especially all religious, political and social groups to resist against ISIL and described the terrorist group as a “tool for some to achieve their wicked goals” and demanded the Iraqi groups and individuals to “do something besides condemning.”
 
Iraqi troops and local Popular Mobilization Units started their operation to retake Ramadi three days ago. Parts of the city fell into the hands of ISIL militants on May 17.

 

According to al-Hadath news channel, Iraqi troops, backed by volunteer forces, have captured the Morur district on Saturday, dealing a serious blow to the Takfiri militants positioned there.
