RNA – During his jurisprudence course at Qom’s Masjid al-A’dham (Grand Mosque) Grand Ayatollah Hoseyn Nouri-Hamadani emphasized that we are Muslims and this should be made evident by our actions and speech. “The enemies must know where they are flexible, we will also be flexible. But we should always keep our animosity towards the enemy,” he said.

The revered source of emulation referred to the command of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei, on the nuclear issue, and stressed the need to maintain the dignity, solemnity and grandeur of the Iranian nation in various international arenas and negotiations.

“We have repeatedly stressed to officials should act in a such a way so that the enemies can realize the greatness of the religion of Islam and the Iranian nation and should not enjoin words and actions which can be seen as signs of weakness,” the revered source of emulation stated.

Ayatollah Nouri-Hamadani criticized the excesses of the West and the United States during the ongoing negotiations and called Iranian officials to take more serious reactions in this regard.

He pointed to the efforts of Iran’s nuclear scientists and added that they went to great lengths to advance Iran’s peaceful nuclear energy program and dignity in the world. He emphasized that Iran’s scientists mastered the nuclear fuel cycle due to their own hard work and research. Based on Ayatollah Khamenei’s commands, we cannot allow our military and scientific centres to be inspected by Western governments.

Addressing the West, Ayatollah Nouri-Hamadani stressed: “Until you allow inspection of your military facilities and interviews with your nuclear scientists, you cannot visit our facilities and interview our scientists.”

In another part of his lecture, Ayatollah Nouri-Hamadani referred to Ayatollah Khomeini’s issue of the famous fatwa (verdict) of apostasy against Salman Rushdie, saying “After the victory of the Islamic Revolution, the enemies tried to fight against Iran with all their tools and used all tricks they had available, but the edict of Imam Khomeini (RA) created a reverberation in the world.”

His Eminence went on to say the enemies created ISIL, Boko Haram and other Takfiri groups to fight against Muslims, adding that Saudi Arabia is using its petrodollars to fund these groups.

In response to Saudi Arabia’s unjust crimes against the innocent people of Yemen, Ayatollah Nouri-Hamadani emphasized that Muslim nations have a religious duty to speak out in the face of such crimes, emphasizing that Muslims cannot remain silent.

He also emphasized the high level of security that exists in Iran and offered his thanks to the Basij and security forces in this regard. He added that Iraq, Syria and many other countries in the region do not have such security and that Iranians should be grateful.
