RNA – In an interview with Iraq’s “Nun” News Agency, Hujjat al-Islam Hasan al-Masri, the vice-president of the political council of Lebanon’s Amal Movement, has denied all claims of Iranian interference in Yemen and other Arabic countries, emphasizing that we have warned the Saudis that their invasion of Yemen, like the 2006 Israeli invasion of southern Lebanon, is bound to fail.

“This babble about Iranian interference in Yemen is not true because if Iran had any intention to interfere in Yemen, the situation would be very different today and it would be beneficial for the Yemeni people,” he added, “So my advice to all is that these false allegations between each other must end.”

Referring to the “Rescue” aid ship dispatched by the Iranian Red Crescent Society, the senior member of the Amal Movement said that the Islamic Republic of Iran not only continues to support the Yemeni people, but its support includes essential humanitarian assistance.

“The fact that the Iranian role in Yemen is a humanitarian role is made evident by sending a ship loaded with food, medicine and humanitarian necessities. Iran is weeping for the oppressed and the poor who are being killed in Yemen,” he explained.

Hujjat al-Islam al-Masri explained that the entire Arab world does not have the unbridled power of the Zionist regime, but this corrupt regime could not even advance its objectives in Lebanon or in the Gaza Strip.

The Lebanese scholar said that the world has hailed the stability of the Yemeni people in their battle against the Saudi regime. “If the United States, with all its military might, joined the Saudi-led coalition against Yemen, they still would not have the ability to change the will of the Yemeni revolutionaries,” he stressed.

“How can these Arabs not realize that despite the poverty and deprivation and the relentless Saudi bombardment, the Yemeni people have been steadfast and self-sacrificing in the face of their enemies,” His Eminence explained.

He also added that even though the Saudis have reportedly used powerful American Tomahawk missiles in their attacks on Yemen, they still will not be able to change the course of the Yemeni revolution.

Referring to Nabih Berri’s plan for Iran, Saudi Arabia and all Yemeni parties in to meet in Oman to discuss resolving the ongoing conflict and creating a unified Yemeni government, Hujjat al-Islam al-Masri said that Saudi Arabia has refused all offers to negotiate and has prevented the convening of such meetings.
