RNA – In an exclusive interview with Rasa News Agency, Hujjat al-Islam Habibollah Ghafouri, the director of the Islamic Seminaries of Tehran Province said that the colonial and arrogant countries’ domination of the so-called international community, including of the UN Security Council, as well as their domination over parts of the Islamic world, prevents many Islamic countries from progressing to their full potential.
He added that in recent times, the arrogant countries’ are involved in creating conflicts between the Muslims of Syria, Iraq and Yemen. He also noted that some ignorant Muslims, who are agents of the arrogant powers, are waging brutal wars and damaging the assets of the Islamic world.
His Eminence pointed to the ongoing atrocities in Yemen, saying that the Zionists have expressed their satisfaction with the Saudi-led war on the impoverished and war-torn Arab country.
“The Saudis, like their Zionist allies carried out in the Gaza Strip, have besieged and massacred the innocent and defenceless people of Yemen,” he stated.
Hujjat al-Islam Ghafouri went on to say that the mission of the Prophet Muhammad was a light in the darkness of the Era of Ignorance which opened a new chapter for the development of human reason, stating that the first revealed verses of the Holy Quran begin with the mention of the pen and knowledge.
His Eminence emphasized that Islam can be the foundation of human development and progress and can help human beings develop both materially and spiritually, adding that in the Holy Quran, God has introduced Islam as a comprehensive program for human life.
Hujjat al-Islam Ghafouri explained that with the advent of the mission of the Holy Prophet of Islam, the world has been influenced by his divine teachings, and today there are more than one billion followers of the luminous religion of Islam throughout the world.
He said that in the past, Muslims had great knowledge and power but added that due to the failure of governments in Muslim countries, the arrogant powers have been able to overtake Muslims in the various scientific fields. Muslims’ scientific capital and Islamic lands were stolen and their efforts were applied in Western countries.
