Ayatollah Sanad:
Rasa – One of the senior clerics of Najaf has stressed that the execution of Ayatollah al-Nimr will cause a revolution in the predominantly Shi’ite regions under the control of the House of Saud and due to the fear of this revolution, the Saudis will not dare to implement the death sentence on this revolutionary scholar.

RNA – In an exclusive interview with Rasa News Agency, Ayatollah Muhammad Sanad, a Bahraini Shi’ite scholar based in the Iraqi holy city of Najaf, has described the Saudi war against Yemen as the end of the House of Saud.

Regarding this point, Ayatollah Sanad added that the tyranny and crimes committed by the House of Saud against innocent people are unprecedented in history.

The teacher in the Holy Islamic Seminary of Najaf added that the Saudi regime does not have courage to implement their death sentence on Ayatollah Nimr Baqir al-Nimr because they know there will be a revolution in the largely Shi’ite eastern areas of Saudi Arabia which will lead to their overthrow.

His Eminence continued, saying that the House of Saud is witnessing intense conflict amongst its many members and is currently trying to calm matters. This can be witnessed by the recent changes made by King Salman ibn Abdul-Aziz Al Saud. The people of Saudi Arabia, both Shi’ites and even the Wahhabis, are on the brink of an outburst of revolution, and the government is attempting to avoid provoking the people.

The Bahraini scholar stressed the possibility of the collapse of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia due to the serious differences among the member of its ruling family which could lead to the country being divided into several smaller countries.

Ayatollah Sanad noted that according to Islamic traditions, these small countries will fight each other before the return of the awaited saviour, Imam al-Mahdi. Makkah and the Hejaz region will be also placed under the control of true Muslims.

He also criticized the United States’ Congress plan to divide Iraq into three separate countries, saying that the Iraqi army will never let this happen.
