Rasa – Ayatollah Emami-Kashani, the interim Friday Prayers’ leader of Tehran said in his first sermon that Iran’s persistence on preserving its peaceful nuclear activities and its opposed stand against nuclear weapons is due to our system’s pursuance of Imam Ali’s thoughts, logic and policies.

RNA – “Those who argue that the Iranian side’s words are not to be trusted in the nuclear negotiations should be reminded that the moves, acts and deeds of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the nuclear field are based on Imam Ali’s model,” Ayatollah Mohammad Emami-Kashani said.

“It is in fact the world nations that should not trust those world powers, as it is those powers that create crises in the world and commit acts that cannot even be mentioned, and then they come up with the argument that they cannot trust Iran,” he added.

Those with black records in human rights field cannot criticize others

Ayatollah Emami-Kashani also criticized the western standard bearers of the human rights in his first sermon for their numerous violations of the human rights both in their own countries and abroad, arguing that such criminals cannot criticize the others for committing the same crimes.

“Your policies are not only unreligious and contradictory with the teachings of Jesus Christ. but also quite inhumane, as well,” said the revered Ayatollah.

“The human rights lawyers should know that Iran acts in accordance with Imam Ali’s words, where he addressed his governor, Malik al-Ashtar, telling him to keep his promises and vowed covenants and to act accordingly, whether they are vowed with friends, or enemies,” he added.

Ayatollah Imami-Kashani said that Imam Ali continues that even if we vow covenants and later on find out that those covenants are to our loss we are not permitted to break them and are obliged to keep them, so that the world nations could live at ease and preserve their peace of mind.

He called on the world nations, as well as those who claim to be the standard bearers of the human rights, telling them that a group intending to humiliate Islam has hired a bunch of Takfiri hooligans and commissioned them to host flags with Islamic signs to fool some simpleminded people.

“Those powers that have mobilized those hooligans are the same people who publish insulting caricatures against the Prophet of Islam and aim at deceiving the Muslim youth,” he added.

US Congress and partition plan for Iraq

Elsewhere in his sermon, Ayatollah Emami-Kashani criticized the US Congress plan for partition of Iraq into three Sunni, Shi’a and Kurdish countries.

“It is very sorrowful that the US Congress passes a bill on the need to disintegrate Iraq into three Shi’a, Sunni and Kurdish countries,” he said.

The interim Friday prayers imam expressed certainty however, saying that the Iraqi nation is a solid and united nation that will slap on the mouth of the US Congress.

“The global oppressor forces have plots and plans or the Islamic countries, which will not be materialized and they will carry them to the grave,” he said.

The Saudi aggression on Yemen

He also lashed out at Arab states for their failure to react to the killing of innocent Yemeni people in Saudi Arabia’s airstrikes against the impoverished country.

“Why do you keep silent on the crimes of your governments?” Ayatollah Emami-Kashani said, addressing the question to the Saudi people and other Arab and Muslim nations,

“I just tell the Saudi people and their neighbouring Arab nations: You are complicit in this sin with your silence,” he added.

The senior cleric said the Saudi government kills people in Yemen, refuses to allow in humanitarian aid and pounds Sana’a’s airport to prevent aid planes from landing.

Ayatollah Emami-Kashani further noted that if Muslim nations had stood up against the arrogant powers’ crimes, they could have stopped the ongoing oppression against the Syrian, Iraqi, Palestinian and Yemeni people.
