RNA - An American young man and a well-known Brazilian kick boxer, Lucas Bronks who embraced Shia Islam visited the Iraqi holy city of Najaf on Wednesday.

He was welcomed and greeted warmly by the authorities in Imam Ali’s (AS) holy shrine.

He described his feelings after visiting the holy shrine and said: I feel I am ineffably fortunate. I am standing before the master of humanity, justice, and forgiveness and I salute him.

He said: when I entered my heart was trembling and my feet were heavy. I could not move on. But after reading the prayers and entering the shrine I felt calm and secure. I felt something unlike anything before.

According to Lucas himself, his process of converting to Shia Islam took about 7 years from the summer of 2001 to 2008 and “The first time I met a Muslim was when I was at a Catholic summer school and I was 11 back then.”
