RNA – Two students in the Islamic Seminary of the Iraqi holy city of Najaf who participated in the war against ISIS Takfiri terrorists have been martyred.

Hujjat al-Islam Salem al-Jabbouri, a representative of Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Mohammad-Sa’id al-Hakim, was graced with martyrdom in Tikrit.

He was one of the first who enthusiastically embraced the call to jihad by answering the fatwa of Ayatollah Sayyed Ali al-Sistani by travelling to the battlefield.

The other martyr was recognized as Hujat al-Islam Jasem al-Mousawi, a seminary student in Najaf.

The volunteer forces have been following the religous edict (fatwa) of Grand Ayatollah al-Sistani issued on June 2014 in which he ordered “citizens to defend the country, its people, the honour of its citizens, and its sacred places” against Takfiri terrorists.

The volunteer forces have pledged to continue the fight until liberating all militant-held territories.
