RNA – In an exclusive interview with Rasa News Agency, Ayatollah Hasan Mamdouhi, the representative of the people of Kermanshah province in the Assembly of Experts, referred to the speech of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution (Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei), during his meeting with members of the Assembly of Experts on March 16th, wherein he stated: “Ahead of deadlines set for the conclusion of negotiations, the Americans always adopt a harsher, tougher and more radical tone in order to realize their objectives. We have to watch out for this ruse.”
Ayatollah Mamdouhi added: “So many years after the victory of the Islamic Revolution, we clearly understand wether the Americans are seeking enmity with us or friendship.”
His Eminence said that the United States is not seeking anything but injustice and seeks only to bully others and to promote their self-interests. They never sought personal freedoms, dignity or peace. Even the Americans use their knowledge in the service of this brutality.
The renowned scholar emphasized that the US’ policies are animalistic, and stated: “The US has dug themselves into a hole with the creation of its illegitimate offspring, Israel, in the Middle East and many other irrational policies and they do not have the ability to get themselves out of the problems that they have created.”
“As time goes on, God Almighty has taken more and more of the American’s dignity. They must know that we do not have any more trust in them, nor can we rely on them,” he added.
Ayatollah Mamdouhi referred to the emphasis that Ayatollah Khamenei’s placed on avoiding passiveness in regard to the phenomenon of Islamophobia. “Islamophobia is a result of Muslims being passive – if Muslims were not passive, the enemies would not have been able to create this wave of Islamophobia,” the scholar explained.
He added: “Islam transcends the geographical boundaries of the world and therefore, Islam is rapidly spreading. Due to this, the enemies have hatched a cunning plot to spread Islamophobia throughout the world. We must realize that the jealousy of the enemies is a sign of the success of Islam. The Islamophobia created by the enemies is an apt opportunity for Muslims, which fortunately is being exploited.”
Ayatollah Mamdouh pointed out that Ayatollah Khamenei stated that “there is no such thing as religion of minimums,” and noted that a religion of minimums is that which Westerners want for Islam. They state that religion is just faith in relation to some acts which must be enjoined and the prohibition of other acts, with no relation to politics. This issue has been severely condemned in the Holy Quran.
