Rasa News Agency Reports – In a meeting with Hisham Abdul-Razzaq and Husain Qasim, the leaders of the Palestinian scholars’ house, Sheikh Maher Hammoud, mentioning the current crisis in Lebanon, said: “The current disputes in Lebanon are no Shia-Sunni disputes, they are just the political disputes”.

“Unfortunately, some religious figures in Lebanon are adding tribal and religious aspects to the current political disputes, which is so dangerous” the Lebanese Mufti said, criticizing some of the Salafist figures.

“The religious scholars must be a pioneer in confronting the seditions and religious disputes rather than fueling the conflicts” he stressed.

He considered the silence and the incuriosity of some of the Muslim and Arab countries regrading the insult of the Muslim religious sanctities in Palestine and the Zionist invasion to the Palestinian people as shameful and demanded the Arab nations to help the Islamic resistance movement in Lebanon and Palestine.

At the end of the meeting Hesham Abdul-Razzaq also stressed that the Palestinian house of scholars has special attention in dealing with Muslim unity and coexistence.
