RNA - According to Iran's Quran News Agency, in a message to the closing ceremony of Iran’s 37th National Quran Competition, Ayatollah Jafar Sobhani described the holy Quran as a sun that never sets.
The grand Ayatollah added that the Noble Quran is an everlasting guide for humanity and a miracle that will always shine, unlike other miracles that shine for a limited amount of time and are then forgotten.
He further praised the organizers of the Quran competition for their efforts and wished them success.
Ayatollah Sobhani also underlined that the Quran’s concepts should become part of every Muslims’ soul.
The 37th National Quran Competition of the Islamic Republic of Iran kicked off on Wednesday, February 25, in the northwestern city of Tabriz.
Some 470 Quran reciters and memorizers from different provinces of the country competed in the Quranic event.
It concluded on Monday in a ceremony in Tabriz where winners of different categories received their awards.
