RNA – In a meeting with Iran’s president Hassan Rouhani, Ayatollah Nouri Hamedani mentioned the negotiations with the P5+1 group of countries over Iran’s nuclear program saying that the sources of emulation and clergy in Qom support Iran’s negotiating team.
“They are trustworthy believers who are striving to serve the Islamic system of government” he added.
The renowned source of emulation underlined benefits of the nuclear negotiations saying: “We see the benefits of negotiation as having two aims – the first is show the world that Iran is negotiating based on the Islamic system of logic, reason and dialogue. The second aim is to introduce the true face of the arrogance powers and their regional agents to the world.”
He went on to say that if the negotiations lead to an outcome which retains the rights of the Iranian people, then they are good but if the excessive demands of the Americans and the other participants cause the negotiations to fail, then there will not be any fault on the Iranian government nor its Islamic system because standing up to the excesses of the West is considered an honor for us.
According to the European Union, political directors from Iran and the P5+1 group’s foreign ministries will hold a fresh round of talks about Tehran’s nuclear program in Montreux, Switzerland, on March 5.
In regard to the threats made by the enemies against the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ayatollah Nouri-Hamadani remembered Imam Ruhollah Khomeini (RA), who said that we should not fear anyone but God alone and with this honour, Islam can stand up against the West and the East and their regional agents and Muslims can protect themselves.
In another part of the meeting with the president, Ayatollah Nouri-Hamadani referred to the government’s efforts to address the economic problems, said that the government has put a lot of effort in this area, but these efforts must have tangible effects for the people and emphasized that this is not possible except with the close monitoring of market prices and the elimination of market speculators and brokering and a reform of the banking system.
His Eminence also noted that the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei, has stressed upon the implementation of a “resistance economy” and thus the government must realize this command with seriousness, if the sanctions are removed and even if they are not removed.
In conclusion, Ayatollah Nour-Hamadani recommended that the government must communicate more with the seminaries and the Society of Seminary Teachers of Qom.
