Rasa News Agency Reports – In a meeting with the board of federation council of Russia, the Islamic Jurists, Ayatollah Husain Nouri Hamedani stressed on the importance of the relations between the two countries and stated: “These relations are so beneficial for the region. The eastern countries can throw the west and arrogant powers out of the region and overcome their oppressions on the people of the region.
“Unfortunately, western [countries] have been opposing Islam and Iran, in the recent centuries. The arrogant powers’ stance have been always against us, but the eastern countries are communicating with us kindly and with sincerity. This difference between the eastern and western relations is quite obvious” he added.
The Islamic jurist then said that Russia had help us a lot in reflecting the truth about the Iranian nuclear issue and added: “In getting nuclear technology, Western countries have always tried to oppose Iran, but Russia has helped us in proofing the world the peaceful use of energy program in Iran”.
Ayatollah Nouri Hamedani considered spreading lies as a western trick to deceive the global opinion and stated that their paradoxical policies in dealing with Syria and Bahrain showed that they are false claiming about the human rights, democracy and fighting the terrorism.
Praising Russia for its support of Iran’s policies in dealing with Syria, he said: “Any nation must [be able to] decide for the destiny of its own country. These countries that are intervening Syria’s internal affairs, the people of their own country are protesting and are dissatisfied of the current situation. They have ignored the demands of their own country and are supporting and mobilizing the Syrian rebels”.
Stressing that the Iranian nation is and will be unified with any government that is seeking justice and fighting the oppression, the Ayatollah said: “On the other hand, we will fight those who are oppressing”.
“As the supreme leader clearly announced, we will support anyone who is fighting against Zionism, because we believe, as long as this cancer tumor and American [military] base is present, the people of the region won’t feel real peace” The ayatollah cited.
