Rasa – Ayatollah Alavi-Gorgani said that one should never consider himself as indebted to by God. Those who think that God is indebted to them because of their good deeds will be kept waiting to receive rewards from God.

RNA – Grand Ayatollah Mohammad-Ali Alavi-Gorgani met the members of the committee responsible for organizing festival of “Quran and the Holy Progeny (A)” on February 3rd. During this meeting he said that the youth are considered as the most important part of any nation. He also said that youth should seek the truth when they are young.

 

Ayatollah Alavi-Gargani quoted a tradition of Holy Prophet Muhammad (S) and said that the best and most favourable young man is the one who follows the teachings of his seniors and the less favourable old man is the one who behaves like a child in old age.

 

He further said that the Holy Prophet (S) explained the status of both the youth and the elderly, saying that the young people will be respected on the Day of Judgement if they follow the teachings of their seniors.

 

Ayatollah Alavi-Gorgani said that the political system of Iran is a reflection of teachings of Islam and although mistakes have been made while following and implementing this political system, it is one of the best systems in the world.

 

He said that Islam is the best religion and Muslim youth must grow up with the love of Holy Quran and Ahlul-Bayt (A). He said that we should pay attention towards Quranic and religious activities. According to Islamic narrations, we should invite others to assist us when we intend to do some good.

 

In verse number 84 of Surat al-Maidah, God Almighty says:
“Why should we not believe in God and the truth that has come to us, eager as we are that our Lord should admit us among the righteous people?”

Explaining this verse, Ayatollah Alavi-Gorgani said that one should never consider himself as indebted to by God. Those who think that God is indebted to them because of their good deeds will be kept waiting to receive rewards from God.

 

Ayatollah Alavi-Gorgani advised the youth by stating they should continue to follow the renowned sources of emulation. He said that enemy has always tried to keep the youth away from religious scholars.

 

He said that our system may have weaknesses but we should remain vigilant of our enemy.
