In the holy city of Qom, clerics, scholars and sources of emulation attended a large rally. Several sources of emulation had earlier described a mass turnout at the rallies as a proof of the peoples’ loyalty to the Islamic Revolution and to the true form of Islam revived by Imam Khomeini in the face of the Western media’s propaganda war against the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The main speaker at Qom’s massive rally was Hujjat al-Islam Sayyed Mohammad Sa’idi, trustee of the Holy Shrine of Lady Fatimah al-Ma’sumah. In his speech, His Eminence explain the benefits and achievements of the Islamic Revolution.
Iranians chanted slogans renewing their covenant with lofty values of the Islamic Revolution and the sacred system of Wilayat al-Faqih (Guardianship of the Jurisprudent) as a sign that the only way to deal with enemies and oppressors of the world is to stand firm of these principles and values. Any decline in these values can be considered as a sign of the arrogance of the Western powers.
