RNA – During his Ba’th al-Kharij class at Qom’s Masjid al-A’dham (Grand Mosque), Grand Ayatollah Hoseyn Nouri-Hamadani invited the Iranian people to create an epic by participating in the rallies and ceremonies celebrating the 22nd of Bahman (February 11th), which celebrates the victory of the Islamic Revolution over the Western-backed tyrannical Pahlavi regime and ended 2500 years of monarchy.
“Since the victory of the glorious [Islamic] Revolution we have been preparing for the reappearance of Imam al-Mahdi (AJ). We look toward the 22nd of Bahman with a spiritual perspective,” His Eminence explained.
The revered source of emulation stated that the Islamic Revolution is a hope for all the oppressed people and all Muslims of the world, adding: “All must work to strengthen this [Islamic] system of governance and repudiate the hatred of the enemies toward pure Islam and express their loyalty to the Islamic system, revolutionary values, and Wilayat al-Faqih (Guardianship of the Jurisprudent) by participating in rallies with the more glory than in past years.”
Ayatollah Nouri-Hamadani emphasized that Iranians’ mass participation in the 22nd of Bahman rallies will show the honour, power and will be a symbol of unity and solidarity of the Iranian nation. “Men and women, young and old – everyone should participate in the rallies with passion, reason and shout [revolutionary] slogans to show the power and glory of Islam and the Islamic Revolution and the declare their hatred of the arrogant powers and their agents,” the renowned scholar and teacher explained.
His Eminence pointed to the critical situation in the Middle East and stressed that due to the current situation in the region it is necessary to preserve the unity and solidarity. “[Through unity,] we will witness an epic event and the defeat of the enemy and with the support of the Islamic Revolution, Wilayat al-Faqih, we will show the lofty goals of this system,” he stated.
