“From any country, you (Muslims) are duty-bound to demonstrate the true image of the Prophet (Muhammad (S)),” Ayatollah Mohammad Emami-Kashani said.
Addressing a congregation gathered for the weekly prayers, he condemned the defamation as a plot by the enemies of Islam.
Muslim teachers, students, merchants and all others have an obligation to deliver Islamic books to the young people of America and Europe, the cleric underlined.
He said a recent letter by the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei, to the youths of Europe and North America was an example of the duty a Muslim has to introduce Islam.
Ayatollah Emami-Kashani added that the Supreme Leader’s letter was neither political nor an invitation to convert to Islam, but only obedience to God’s order to remind people of the reality.
He also slammed the burning alive of a captive Jordanian pilot by the terrorist DAESH group.
He said the savage act was an attempt by the group which is a puppet of the world hegemonic powers to tarnish the image of Islam.
Turning to nuclear negotiations with the P5+1, Ayatollah Emami-Kashani said the unanimous support of the Islamic government to the negotiating team gives it the power to safeguard the nation’s rights in the talks.
The Friday Prayers leader also noted that the launching of Fajr satellite into the orbit is a proof to Iran’s high technological and scientific capabilities.
