Rasa - Chairman of Expediency Council Ayatollah Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani, in a condolence message addressed on Friday to new Saudi King Salman Bin Abdul Aziz, condoled with him on demise of the late Saudi Monarch, King Abdullah.
RNA - According to the EC Public Relations Office, Ayatollah Rafsanjani condoled also with Saudi government and nation and prayed to Almighty God for the salvation of the late leader and patience of his bereaved family members.
The message continued, 'I wish success for Your Excellency in consolidation of unity in the Islamic world, co-existence and brotherhood between the two nations of Iran and Saudi Arabia under the teachings of Islam.'
Saudi King Abdullah passed away at the age of 90 on Friday early morning, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
