The recent news from France indicates the fire which some Western governments and their allies have created by supporting terrorist and extremist groups in Islamic countries. Today, this has also affected themselves and armed men belonging to these groups have killed some people by attacking the satirical newspaper Charlie Hebdo.
Although this newspaper had previously and repeatedly violated Islamic sanctities and insulted the Holy and Magnificent Prophet Muhammad (S) by insulting the world’s more than one and a half billion Muslims’ feelings, so have various Islamic scholars and leaders who have never allowed their followers to address these insults with more than protests and violent in response to these insults.
A point worth reflecting on the blackmailing, shameless, criminal and child-murdering Zionist regime (Israel) which has always been to one of the basic creators and actors who have encouraged and helped the extremist and terrorist groups to grow in the region.
In addition to the intentions of the agents of this terrorist action cannot be considered to come from Islamic teachings. al-Mustafa (S) International University strongly condemns the release of these false cartoons of Islam’s revered prophet as well as their republication and the new wave of Islamophobia in the West.
We invite both Islamic and non-Islamic nations to peace and friendship. We believe that these types of [terrorist] events are the responsibility of governments who have provided the basis for insulting sanctities and divine religions with the excuse of protecting freedom of expression and have trained extreme and criminal groups such as al-Qaeda, ISIS and the like with the false claim that they are defending human rights.
