RNA - The two Syrian besieged Shia town of Nubul and Zahra have been attacked on Thursday by Syria’s al-Qaida branch, the militants and a Syrian monitoring group said.

Rasa News has learned that the fall of the two strategic towns which lie just off a highway linking the city of Aleppo with the Turkish border will result in massive tragedy as the predominantly extremist al-Qaida sees minority Shiite as apostates who are worthy of death.
According to Associated Press, Nusra militants claimed on the group's Twitter feed, to have destroyed Shiite mosques while shelling the towns, which have a combined population of about 40,000 people.
On Thursday, the U.S. military said they had struck six targets of the Islamic State group in northern and eastern Syria.
