RNA - Addressing the opening session of the 28th International Islamic Unity Conference in Tehran on Wednesday, Sheikh Ammar al-Hakim stressed on the necessity for convergence and unity among Muslims calling it “the gate of victory.”
Hakim called unity a pre-requisite for power, and asked for strengthening of solidarity among Islamic states.
The Iraqi political figure noted that the Muslim youth know that they should suppor the Palestinian nation to achieve their legitimate rights.
"Today the world of Islam has been awakened and Muslims know that Judaization of al-Quds is a Zionist plot," he added.
Regarding the issue of excommunication in the world of Islam, Hakim said: “Relevance of Takfiri groups like DAESH, is due to religious and sectarian prejudices and that is a threat for the whole world."
