RNA - Head of Kuwait Shiite Scholars Council Mohamed Baqer Al-Mehri has called on Sunnis and Shiites in Kuwait to preserve the national unity and brotherliness in Islam by sharing love with one another, reports Al- Seyassah daily.

According to Rasa News Agency, in astatement, Al-Mehri suggested a conference of the Shiite and Sunni sects to resolve pending issues plus allegations of pagan and polytheist practices against one another, noting a meeting of the two sects has become necessary in order to unify their stances against the enemies of Islam and to focus on promoting the national unity under the current regional circumstances.

He called on the government represented by Interior Ministry to monitor the transfer of funds to accounts of the terrorist organizations, as well as donations sent in support of DAESH and other terrorist groups.
