RNA – Grand Ayatollah Hoseyn Nouri-Hamadani has met with a group of police commanders from throughout Iran. His Eminence stated that the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei, has commanded that our military forces must become stronger day by day and due to this way, the military and defence industries have advanced.
In regard to the verse of the Holy Quran wherein God Almighty stated: “Prepare against them whatever you can of [military] power and war-horses, frightening thereby the enemy of God, and your enemy...” [8:60] Ayatollah Nouri-Hamadani stated: “Our military power should be at a level that the United States, the Zionists and their agents are afraid of us.”
The renowned source of emulation stated that the successes of Iran in the region and the role of Haj Qasem Soleymani, the feared commander of Iran’s Quds Force, in these successes, said: “[Barack] Obama and John Kerry would really like they know how [Iran] successfully plans and conduct such operations, but they overlook the fact that we have thousands of people like Haj Qasem Soleymani.”
Ayatollah Nouri-Hamadani explained that Iran’s security situation is unsurpassed in the region, saying: “None of our neighbouring countries have such security. We owe our authority and security measures to the wise planning of our Leader and the increasing power of our military forces.”
The revered scholar said that the methods the enemy uses in its battle against Islam is very different than in the past. “Perhaps we can say that such a situation like today’s situation has not existed in all of history. The arrogant powers of the world with all their power, and all of their advancements in knowledge and equipment are working hard to destroy Islam. Due to this situation, unity among Muslims is of the utmost importance,” Ayatollah Nouri-Hamadani said.
Ayatollah Nouri-Hamadani stated that the responsibility of those in the armed forces is very heavy and important and said: “Those employed by the armed forces should not look to his job as a source of income, but rather it should be a divinely inspired duty and responsibility. If one works with the intention to gain closeness to God, every breath you take in your [army] uniform is considered to be a form of sacred worship.”
