RNA – During his advanced jurisprudence class at Qom’s Holy Shrine of Lady Fatimah al-Ma’sumah, Grand Ayatollah Hoseyn Nouri-Hamadani spoke about the most important current events – including the Bahraini elections, the P5+1 negotiations, American racism and the Takfiri phenomenon.
His Eminence condemned the attack on the home of the renowned Bahraini Shi’ite scholar, Shaykh Isa Qasim, by the Al Khalifah regime, stating that for several years, the Bahraini people have been resisting the Al Khalifah regime.
He emphasized that this tyrannical and oppressive regime is supported by Saudi Arabia, the United States and other imperialistic countries. A few days before the Bahraini election, the Al Khalifah regime sought to crack down on its people to prevent them from interrupting the elections.
Ayatollah Nouri-Hamadani urged scholars not to remain silent in the face of the oppression faced by the Bahraini people and especially the attack on Shaykh Isa Qasim.
Regarding the recent negotiations with the P5+1 group of countries over Iran’s nuclear program, Ayatollah Nouri-Hamadani stated that the negotiations are moving forward at a good pace because they involve the use of logic, reasoning, proofs and mental and spiritual power against the P5+1. “However, this issue should be given extra care and vigilance,” he advised.
Ayatollah Nouri-Hamadani emphasized that one of the blessings of the negotiations is the confirmation of the hostility of the arrogant countries toward the Islamic Republic of Iran and its people.
The revered scholar emphasized that nuclear energy is the inalienable right of the Iranian people, especially the youth who have strived toward achieving it, stating: “The Iranian people want to achieve peaceful nuclear technology but Iran’s enemies do not want it to progress, but nevertheless we have progressed in the negotiations. Iran’s negotiating team has the strength to stand up to their extravagant demands and we thank them and hope for their success.”
Speaking on subject of racism in the United States, referred to the recent news from the city of Ferguson, Missouri, saying: “They accuse us of violating human rights but they still cannot not accept African-Americans as a race in this country and they still do not accept that they are human beings like us!”
In imperialistic countries like the United States, African-Americans are under great oppression and suffer severe oppression. This is a sign of their egotism and arrogance. “In the United States and European countries, racial discrimination still exists and they kill and murder [Africans] but [in the case of Ferguson] they acquitted the killer [of Michael Brown] and we condemn this,” Ayatollah Nouri-Hamadani stated.
Regarding the Takfiri phenomenon, His Eminence referred to them as a superstitious group which was creating by the arrogant powers to weaken Muslims and to divide them and thus fight against true Islam.
In conclusion, Ayatollah Nouri-Hamadani condemned the Zionists’ desecration of al-Aqsa Mosque, saying that the Takfiris are killing other Muslims while leaving Israel alone. This proves that Israel is behind the Takfiri phenomenon.
