Rasa – The member of the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution said: “The people that were born again with Iran’s revolution and the Great Imam Khomeini, were great enough to change the history.”
Rasa News Agency Reports – In the commemoration of the martyr commander-in-chief Mohammad Taheri, Deputy Commander of the Imam Sadegh brigade of the 5th army of Nasr, held in the Nour hall of Mashhad last night, Hassan Rahimpour Azghadi said: “Today, the characteristic of Martyr Taheri and people like him that were gravitated to God whole-heartedly, and were thinking about nothing else, has made a new world with new creatures.”
In mentioning a memory of Commander-in-chief Taheri, he said: “In the Badr operation that I met him closely, I saw a light and wisdom in his soul that was in result of his sincere actions. After the noon prayer everyone went to their tents for lunch and to take a rest until the next difficult operation. But Martyr Taheri sat under the hot sun on the ground and started reading Quran and remembering God. Two or three hours later we came out of tents and he was still there and after a while, when he left there, I saw the soil under him turned into mud due to his tears.”
The purpose of war was to create humans
“It was about sunset that they ordered to pack the equipment and get on canoes. Here the Martyr, addressed for the last time with small but meaningful statements. As soon as he said “Bismillah (In the name of God)” everyone started crying and then he stated some small but full of wisdom and mysticism statements that was the key to the victory of our revolution and the Islamic awakening. He said: “Brothers! Tonight or tomorrow night is the promised night and maybe most of us won’t be here the day after tomorrow. We are going without [planning to] return. All of the prophets came to create humans, and at this moment all of the prophets are for Islam, and Islam depends on this revolution, and this revolution depends on this war, and this war depends on this operation, and this operation depends on tonight and it all depends on you.”
“In Imam Khomeini’s perspective, the universe has been created to make a perfect man out of human and not for materialistic victory. So while some operations apparently didn’t reach its goals and failed but in fact we won, because the main goal which was to create perfect men like Martyr Taheri, was gained.” The university professor explained.
He stated: “The humans that were born again with Iran’s revolution and the Great Imam Khomeini, were grand enough to change the history. Some top American strategists are saying “In the Islamic awakening a dam broke down and mentality of the world changed. We must scrutinize to see from where this dam started to break. This crack definitely was made by the Islamic Revolution and those who thought about their duty in both the war and the revolution and while they didn’t have a sophisticated arm they won 100 percent, but we didn’t understand why and we still don’t understand it!”
Rahimpour Azghadi said: “The west is admitting that the reason behind the Arabic countries movements, was their decades of humiliation and fear from America and Israel, that disappeared after the Israel’s failure against Hezbollah youth who fought empty-handed, Iranian style and with the idea of “even if we lose, we are the winner.” And today if they relent against Iran in the nuclear issue, the world will be shown that they have no power and grandeur anymore.”
The key for our victory was self-denial, not the military equipment and arms
In mentioning the unique resistance of the Iranian warriors in the Badr operation and the Khandagh crossroad and their glorious martyrdom he said: “In a situation in which the enemy were bombing every inch of our soil with a specific pattern that we could guess where the next bomb is going to hit, the enemy were firing from every corner and a lot of soldiers were martyred or wounded and flesh and blood of the martyrs got sprinkled over us, there were a new model of humans who have stood persistently and proved that blood overcomes sword.
“No matter how much ammunition and arms we have, without our war heroes like, Taheri, Hemmat, Kharrazi and Bakeri and heroes of their kind we can’t win. Because everyone has got the weapons and what distinguishes us [from the enemies] are these kinds of newly born humans.” He emphasized.
Rahimpour Azghadi quoted a note of martyr Taheri which says: “Sincere friends of God who remember God in the middle of night, never can taste the same remembrance of God as it tastes for the warriors under the enemy fire and eye to eye with death” and stated:" A son of the martyr once said “It rarely happened for me to see my father thus I couldn’t even pronounce the word “FATHER” so we used to call him “HAJI TAHERI”. Heroes like martyr Taheri loved their family and children a lot but they left them and let go of them and this is the difference between a warrior for good and a warrior for faith.”
