RNA – Lebanon’s Coalition of Muslim Scholars have explained that the worldwide Islamic community and the Arab world are facing great distress due to the strife created by the Zionist, British and American intelligence agencies. They created wars and uprisings and called it the “Arab Spring.” These Western intelligence agencies have supported unjust Arab monarchies and recruited a number of preachers who fuelled the sedition. Due to the state of the Islamic world, we need to confront these dangers.
The Coalition of Muslim Scholars also stated that they congratulated the Islamic Resistance (Hezbollah) on the heroic operation in the Shebaa Farms. They said they are heartened that the Islamic Resistance is prepared to deal with any Zionist aggression. They also expressed happiness that Hezbollah was not part of the international conspiracy against the Syrian people in general and the Kurdish people in particular.
In regard to the death sentence imposed upon Shi’ite scholar Ayatollah Nimr Baqir al-Nimr by the Saudi authorities, the Coalition of Muslim Scholars stated that this ruling lacks even the minimum elements of justice. The Coalition believes that great afflictions will fall in the Saudi monarchy if it follows through with this ruling.
They also denounced the Zionists for burning a mosque in Hebron al-Khalil and for violating the sanctity of al-Aqsa Mosque. The Zionists are taking advantage of many Muslim’s preoccupation with their countries’ internal issues. The Coalition called for a mass movement at the level of the Islamic world to put pressure on governments to take appropriate positions because blindness will give the Zionists a green light to escalate their movements aimed to demolish the al-Aqsa Mosque and build their alleged temple on its ruins.
The Coalition also called on the Lebanese government to deal firmly with the Takfiri criminals, whether in Tripoli or Arsal and stated that reconciliation will not help in dealing with them. They must liberate Arsal and return its inhabitants to their homes and bring all the criminals to justice and disgrace them.
