RNA – Shaykh Nabil Qawouq, the deputy chairman of the executive board of the Lebanese Shi’ite resistance group Hezbollah, has stated that Hezbollah is well prepared in southern Lebanon as well as in Syria. He also pointed out that Israel’s alliance with ISIL and the al-Nusrah Front Takfiri terrorist groups is a guide to its bankruptcy.
During a celebration by Hezbollah at a husayniyah in town of Brital, near the volatile Lebanese border with Syria, Shaykh Qawouq stated that the wounded terrorists from the so-called Free Syrian Army are being treated in field hospitals, but those from the al-Nusrah Front and ISIL are being treated in Zionist hospitals in Haifa, Safed and Tel Aviv.
He stressed that the Hezbollah blocked the path of the Takfiri emirate and also stated that Hezbollah will not allow the atrocities which have happened in Sinjar, Mosul and Ayn al-Arab (Kobani) to happen in Lebanon. Those who defeated Israel [Hezbollah] will be victorious over the Takfiris. This enemy came to Lebanon to sow the seeds of Takfirism here. Since Lebanon is a part of the Levant, ISIL has decided to expand into Lebanon,” he explained.
Lebanon needs political resolution and an inclusive national army to complete the liberation of its territory and to eradicate the Takfiri phenomenon from the country. Whenever the battle is delayed, the Takfiri danger to Lebanon increases. It is the priority of the Takfiris to target the army and the political forces to provide a security cover for themselves and to removal any obstacles in front of them to pave the path toward victory.
Shaykh Qawouq pointed out that Hezbollah has agreed to the Lebanese national defence strategy to protect Lebanon from external aggression. “Today, Lebanon more than ever must stick to this strategy and we will not be limited in our protection of the Lebanese people and Hezbollah will always be here for Lebanon.”
He stressed that the American-led international coalition has been unsuccessful during its mission in Iraq. “Hezbollah will put an end to ISIL. Hezbollah is looking forward to the completion of its victory. We will complete the battle and show that we are capable of victory,” he concluded.
