RNA – Lebanon’s Coalition of Muslim Scholars has issued a statement commenting on the “persistent violations carried out by the Zionist regime in the al-Aqsa Mosque,” saying that the Zionist entity continues their process of the Judaization of all of Palestine, and at all levels, from changing the names of countries and through forging a false view of Palestinian history and the desecration of Christian and Islamic holy sites. These actions are committed in order to [falsely] declare Palestine as a Jewish entity.
The Coalition explained that all of this comes at a time when the Muslim and Arab world is preoccupied with their internal problems. The Zionist enemy is being aided by some of the region’s rulers, and explained that will these actions will inevitably lead to the dispersion of the strength of the Palestinian nation and weaken them so that the enemy can control it.
The Israeli regime was not successful during its direct war against the Palestinian people so they are attempting an indirect war where Arabs and Muslim kill each other. With this method, all the work will be done for them. The sermons and conspiracies of the Arab rulers and preachers are propagated by the media to deceive Muslims to increase ignorance in the region.
They warned the Islamic ummah that they must cry to wake the Muslim nation up so they turn back to their senses and take notice of what is happening to the al-Aqsa Mosque. By desecrating the al-Aqsa Mosque, the Zionists seek to take complete control of the third holiest site in Islam and demolish it in order to rebuild their temple. We must condemn the criminal act of the Zionists and at the same time condemn the Arab regimes’ silence. Also, the Arab League and the Organization of the Islamic Conference are not paying due attention and are not fulfilling their duty to protect and defend the mosque.
The Coalition of Muslim Scholars recommended that worldwide federation of Muslim scholars be establish a direct resistance to the Zionist’s actions. “We hope to motivate the Islamic nation towards jihad as a goal to liberate Palestine and to unite the ummah in regards to the al-Aqsa issue.”
