RNA – Congratulating the believers present at Friday prayers held at Qom’s Holy Shrine of Lady Fatimah al-Ma’sumah on the birth anniversary of the tenth Shi’ite Imam, Ali ibn Muhammad al-Hadi (A), Hujjat al-Islam Mohammad Sa’idi, stated that during the Imam’s (A) life until the present era, the enemies have acted maliciously against true Islam and against Shi’ite Muslims.
“An example of their [continuing] spite is their destruction of the Imam’s holy shrine,” he stated in reference to the Holy Askariayn Shrine in Samarra, Iraq. The shrine was bombed by Takfiri terrorists in February 2006 and again in June 2007.
According to Rasa News Agency, Hujjat al-Islam Sa’idi stated that after the Prophet Muhammad’s (S) death, the Islamic community deviated from pure Islam and the Ahlul-Bayt (A) resisted this deviancy and sacrificed their pure lives in for true Islam. “Today this path of deviancy continues and the American’s have tried to introduce what Imam Khomeini (RA) called ‘American Islam’ to the world,” His Eminence warned the believers gathered.
The renowned scholar stated that due to the efforts of Imam Khomeini (RA), this deviant path of “American Islam” was exposed to the world. The Imam was able to establish a truly Islam government for the oppressed of the world. He explained that in this striped-down American Islam, all important aspects of traditional “Muhammadan” Islam have been replaced in order to weaken it and take politics and resistance out of the religion and make it subservient to their neo-colonial ways.
Hujjat al-Islam Sa’idi also explained that some Muslims have also forgotten the event of Ghadir Khumm, and what it stands for. The enemies have destroyed the shrines of the infallible Ahlul-Bayt (A), have burnt copies of the Quran and have drawn offensive and obscene caricatures of our beloved prophet in order to degenerate pure Muhammadan Islam.
The custodian of the Holy Shrine of Lady Fatimah al-Ma’sumah (A) explained that the US and its puppet allies in the region have killed many innocent people who stand up against their evil regimes. Some of their puppets include: Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Yemen. “Today, the arrogant powers and reactionaries use the suspicious excuse of the killing of innocent people by ISIL to destroy the infrastructure of Iraq and Syria. This is the work of US, UK and Israel who have promoted this deviant [Takfiri] cult as a diversion to fight true Muhammadan Islam and to advance their agenda,” he told worshippers gathered for Friday prayers.
