RNA – During his advanced jurisprudence class at Qom’s Grand Mosque (Masjid al-A’dham), Grand Ayatollah Naser Makarem-Shirazi stated that the Takfiri terrorist group, ISIL, was created as a tool to destabilize the security in the region for the benefit of the Zionist entity (Israel) and the West. He added that the international coalition against ISIL is an aggressive alliance against Islam and Muslims and the Middle East region.
According to Rasa News Agency, the renowned source of emulation explained to his seminary students that the only way to confront ISIL is to cut off their funding and financial resources and arms and for the Muslim ummah or community to unite. “If you did not support ISIL and did not equip them, they would have been eliminated by now,” he said, addressing the US-led coalition, which they claim is made up of 50 nations.
Ayatollah Makarem-Shirazi pointed to statements by US Secretary of State John Kerry who said that the elimination of ISIL will be a lengthy process, will only be completed after 30 years and will stop only when the terrorist group is incapacitated. His Eminence explained that this statement means that the West wants to maintain ISIL to destabilize security in the Middle East for the benefit of Israel and the West for another 30 years.
He added that the Takfiri terrorists are abusers of Islam and urged Muslim religious scholars to unite and declare their innocence and separation from the incitements of Takfiri groups in order to safeguard the honour and dignity of Islam.
Mentioning the illegal purchase of Iraqi oil from ISIL by several members of the international coalition he added that Turkey, which refused to join the international coalition, allowed ISIL to open a representative office on the territory! “We wonder what kind of coalition this is!” he argued.
