RNA – The office of the Supreme Leader of Islamic Revolution (Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei) has published a letter His Eminence sent to Ayatollah Sayyed Mahmoud Hashemi-Shahroudi on the passing of his mother.
Ayatollah Shahroudi is a an Iraqi-Iranian source of emulation who served as the Head of Iran’s Judiciary from 1999 to 2009.
The text of Ayatollah Khamenei’s message is as follows:
In the Name of God, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
Dear Ayatollah Sayyed Haj Mahmoud Hashemi-Shahroudi (may God make your blessings everlasting),
I offer my condolences to you and your family on the passing of your dear mother who was the proud mother of three honourable martyrs and I pray to God Almighty that you continue to persist in your efforts.
May the Lord include your dear mother in His mercy and forgiveness and gather her with her martyred sons in Heaven.
