Rasa News Agency Reports from Reuters – Egyptian authorities in the new legislations have banned buying and selling alcohol in this country.
The Vice-President Nabil Abbas of Egypt in regards to modern urban affairs said: “The Egyptian government will not allow alcohol to be sold in small cities which have recently been made around cities with big population such as Cairo, Alexandria and other cities.”
He said: “Permits will not be renewed and those who have permits which have not been expired yet can sell alcohol till their permits become expired.”
The liberalist in Egypt who are opposed with the Islamic inclined government of Mohammad Morsi have made a stance against this decision while Mohammad Morsi government is planning to put the tax on alcohol very high.
