Rasa News Agency reports from Tehran – Hujjat al-Islam Sayyed Ali Fadhlullah stressed the leading role of unity in foiling plots hatched by enemies.
Speaking at the 1st International Conference of Islamic Scholars in Defence of Palestine, Hujjat al-Islam Sayyed Ali Fadhlullah, the grandson of the late renowned Lebanese scholar, Ayatollah Muhammad-Husayn Fadhlullah, underscored the only way to stand against the regime of Zionism is through unity.
“The Islamic world is going through new challenges and it is incumbent upon Muslim clerics to use their influence to stand against the plots hatched by the Zionist regime. Some groups are trying to make Muslims forget Palestine,” the Lebanese cleric mentioned.
Hujjat al-Islam Fadhlullah stressed that the divine of religion of Islam is against cruelty and teaches Muslims not to be silent in the face of oppression: “The worldwide Muslim community must unite and support the Islamic Resistance and the oppressed nation of Palestine. Islamic scholars can play an important role in this regard.”
